Read a lot of threads on here where people are advising others that "eating X is better than eating Y because X has a lower GI number".
Obviously a lower GI number/slow digestion means feeling marginally 'fuller'/satisfied for longer (maybe by only half an hour), but apart from that, why should non-diabetics have any interest in the GI level of food?
If you are a healthy weight (not obese), not pre-diabetic/diabetic, then why should we consider GI numbers?
