Since the summer, I have had anything chocolate cherry on my mind. I was never a fan of chocolate covered cherries but over the summer, I decided to make a Chocolate Cherry Smoothie Bowl and I was sold on chocolate cherry everything! Anytime I have seen dried cherries on a menu my entire life, I have pretty much ordered the dish. Michigan Cherry Salad with Cherry Vinaigrette is definitely a favorite and so is Cherry Chicken Pasta which I order every year for my mom's birthday.
Today, I decided to make a healthy snack to share with you! I made these Chocolate Cherry Truffles with the holidays in mind but they are totally healthy and can be made anytime. They have no-added sugar- the sugar in them comes from dried fruit. They are gluten-free, vegan and totally delicious.
